One Fish At A Time
Big Sardine started out of necessity. I found a passion for sewing giant stuffed sardines in my humble home crafting studio, but my small home could only hold so many sardines. I was encouraged to try and list one on Facebook Marketplace, and to my surprise someone eagerly purchased it.
Next thing I knew, I had started a one-woman sardine factory in my basement, and my husband was whipping up this cool website. I still sew the sardines one at a time here in Saskatoon, each one loved equally, and I am just happy that so many people have found joy from them.

I buy all my fabric in Saskatoon. You'll notice that many sardines share the same fabric because I try to use up all my scraps and avoid waste.

All sardines must be picked up from the given address. After purchase, we will discuss a date and window of time for pickup, and the sardine will be left outside for you.
For an additional $4 fee, I can drop off your sardine within Saskatoon.
We don't do shipping at this time.
